One was for the collection of short Anglo Saxon poems called 'The Dream of Rood' The other puts a contemporary twist on Brueghel's Tower of Babel painting.The book that this illustration supports is about the rise and fall of great civilizations and the debate about whether the west is in decline as the east rises.It was a great subject matter to illustrate for!
