Was amazing to be asked by Collins to illustrate a children's book called 'My Journey Across the Indian Ocean' by James Adaire. Was great fun drawing sharks, waves and loads of sea landscapes. Below are a few of my favourite pages. Click to enlarge.  Enjoy!

Dinosaur Poster

Feel like I haven't spent much time drawing for myself recently so I decided to do this personal piece for fun. Hope you enjoy!

Maintaining Independence

Wanted to play with colour pallete and how little I could get away with using, so decided snow scene would be really fun to do. This piece is really about the struggle some elderly people keep up in order to maintain a feeling of independence.

The Mock Turtle

Went to The Mock Turtle cafe with my friend Sarah recently and we were pretty overcome with how quaint and beautiful it is inside.Decided to do a quick painting for Sarah. Hope you like it x

Magazine - British Airways Highlife

I was recently commissioned to create an image for British Airways High Life Magazine. They asked me to keep my line simple and range of colour tones to a minimum so it was pretty fun to work in a  slightly different way. The issue is out in November so will upload more then.

Fisher Price

I was lucky enough to be commissioned by Fisher Price to create a series of drawings set inside and outside a Nursery School. The illustrations are aimed at pre- school children so they wanted imaginative and colorful. The last two explore the exaggerated imagination of children when they go to different places. I was asked to include over saturated colours against dull grey scenes to emphasis the often vivid imagination children have when transfixed on certain animals. Click to see larger!

Lightbox Visuals Agency

Lightbox Visual Communications Agency recently commissioned me to create an illustration for short story Rattling The Stage. The story is about a young Inuit girl who gets shut in a dark closet by a small group of children. The image took quite a while to get right but below you can see my first few attempts before the final illustration.

EVIL JUSTICE

I was lucky enough to be commissioned by Harlequin to create the sequel cover design in the World Wide Mystery Projects series. I was asked to illustrate a gritty alley-way in Manhattan. It was really great to do and can't wait to see it when it's published in September 2012.

You can see my first cover design in the series HERE. I hope they work well together!

Financial Times- 'Jubilee Lines'

An illustration for the fiction section of the Financial Times,  based upon a Anthology by Carol Ann Duffy. The book is intended to mark the Diamond Jubilee, celebrating 60 years of poetry during her reign. I was asked to draw a few key events that are discussed in the peoms.
